Many women, including myself, have broken capillaries on the face also know as
Telangiectasia, which is their medical term. Some may have them only on the side of the nose and bottom of the nostrils, others may have them on the cheeks and chin area as well. There are many reasons why broken capillaries manifest themselves in the delicate facial area and some of these are: Alcohol consumption, Changes in pressure as well as changes in weather, environmental irritants, genes, injuries, rosacea and sun exposure.
